The way he swaggers into the frame gives him away. I wish he had a little more shading done on his right arm to balance out the shading done to the left. The shading on the boots shows that the artist spent some time studying how light falls upon boot leather. It really shows dimension. The texture on the cape is a nice touch I just wish his overcoat also had some texture. I also understand that too much texture could have taken away from the piece. The stars framing his outline are a nice touch but they look a little sparse near his head. I my opinion it would have been better to gently frame them around his head or have them go in a even dispersement towards the top. These few things cost the artist a star in my opinion. On the plus side he shows allot of character with a back story to add depth to the piece. The curvature and evenness of the embroidery work on his clothing shows the skill of the artist. On the whole keep up the good work.
